About me
Hi! My name is Alexander Vienberg, I’m 25 years old and I’m currently taking a bachelors degree at Sonic College in sound design.
As a child I was forced to choose an instrument to learn. I really wanted to play the drums, so my parents went and bought me a guitar. (I guess they realised how incompatible drums and 6-year-olds can be.) Getting a melodic instrument in my hand rewired something in my brain and I never really stopped making music, learning and playing every instrument I could get my hands on.
After doing that for a small 12 years-ish, I found out about producing/recording which is just another instrument in my mind, so obviously I had to learn that too. From there a whole saga of different bands, projects, rappers, podcast’s emerged, but there was one thing I was still curious about.
Growing up with a lot of video games like League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Tekken – I had to find out how that whole thing worked, which is one of the reason I went to Sonic College.
Figuring out how much more sound can do really inspired me to be as versatile with my creativity as possible. I love being creative, but I also want to excel at it. Therefore, I take great care in my work to create a lot of cool sounds, music, and everything else. I think it’s essential to be flexible and not be afraid of something new, but rather be curious.
