Hollow Point – Instrumentalist / Vocalist

As the bassist and hardcore vocalist (screams and growls) for Hollow Point, one of my main assignments was to lift and help the main vocalist get a more aggressive attitude. I did this by planning with the vocalist which screams he struggled with, so I could layer it with mine. This way they would overlap and therefore have a greater effect. 

Apart from this, I helped the drummer making his kicks sound deeper/nuanced and with more punch. By timing my bass strums with his kicks, meticulously learning his kick patterns for the songs, and playing with the right velocity so it gave more power to the songs.

I was also a part of the overall aesthetic and soundscape of the EP “EMPIRE”.  I played many concerts with Hollow Point, planned the shows, how we could reach a greater audience and how we could make an overall better experience for the audience.
